SKETCHBOOKS

I use sketchbooks to remember (views, scenes, colour, form), to learn (how to draw), to play and experiment (collage, mixed media) and to keep my creative practice active even if it’s just for 10 minutes a day.
Most quick drawings or ink sketches usually start with a reference point in the real world, and then morph into abstraction.
Sketchbooks sizes vary: 5.5” x 5.5”, 7” x 7”, 5.5” x 8.5”, 8” x 10”. India ink, gouache, watercolour, acrylic, collage, graphite.
